Argentum Nitricum

Nervous diarrhoea from any kind of emotions, anxiety or anticipation, with colic pains, abdominal distention and watery, greenish stools.
Better: fresh air.
Worse: cold food, sugar, night and warm.

Arsenicum Album

One of the best remedies for diarrhea for food poisoning or alcoholic abuse. Nausea and vomiting can also be part of the Arsenicum Album picture. Diarrhoea is copious and smelly. Often patient experiences coldness of limbs and face.
Better: warm drinks.
Worse: at night after cold drinks and food.

Chamomilla

Painful, colic diarrhoea from anger, cold or dentition (infants, children) with hot, sour, grass green stools.
Better: after fasting.
Worse: teething, heat at night.

Ipecacuanha 

Colic diarrhoea after eating too many sweets or pastry. Head can be hot, but the legs are cold. Patient could have nausea and vomiting. Yellow, white or green discharges.
Better: after stool.
Worse: after eating, emotions and at night

Nitric Acid

Diarrhoea with indigestion and nausea from antibiotics and drugs. Violent, cutting pains after stools.
Better: for pressure.
Worse: cold air, loss of sleep, evening and night.

Phosphoricum Acidum 

Profuse white, watery diarrhoea with distended abdomen and much wind, especially in weakly children.
Better: keeping warm.
Worse: exertion.

Podophyllum  

Diarrhoea early in the morning, when teething with hot cheeks. Much abdominal distension, rumbling and shifting of flatus, yellow, profuse, putrid stools.
Better: bending forward, in the evening.
Worse: early morning 2am to 4am, worse open air.

Sulphur 

Morning diarrhoea, driving the patient out of bed. Offensive, watery, greyish diarrhea that is worse for milk. Diarrhoea alternating with constipation. Pain, urging and burning in rectum.
Better: dry, warm weather.
Worse: at rest or standing.
